Bangkok--6 May--Delivering Asia Communications The Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua — the 900th hotel in the Courtyard global portfolio — has announced a key appointment since opening its doors for business last month. Nicolas Reschke, a German native, takes up the important role of Director of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for setting up the resort’s new sales team, positioning the property and driving top line sales in this new market for the brand. He comes to Bali from Thailand where he was responsible for the MICE segment for the four Courtyard by Marriott resorts in the destination. Prior to this role he spent two years as the sales leader for the Courtyard by Marriott Hua Hin at Cha-am Beach in Thailand and as Director of Sales at the Courtyard by Marriott D?sseldorf in Germany before that. “I’m delighted to be appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Bali, especially with the significance of it being the 900th Courtyard by Marriott hotel in the world,” Mr Reschke said. “I am very excited about where we can take the resort, especially with the Marriott reputation behind us.
