Bangkok--12 May--Core & Peak Mr. Kamol Juntima, Chairman of the Board, IT CITY Public Company Limited reported the year 2011’s first quarter company’s performance that the company’s total revenue was 1,606.81 million Baht with the growth of 10.62% and the net profit of 51.12 million Baht with the growth of 23.41% comparing to the same period of the year 2010. The key reasons for the growth of IT CITY are: 1. The consumer IT market is growing continuously and IT CITY has got well accepted from the customers either home users or SMEs 2. Since IT CITY has continuously expanded its new branches, the increasing revenue will come from both new and existing branches. 3. IT CITY has now become the Thailand largest and abreast of the time one stop shopping IT center. 4. IT CITY has got more direct support from both domestic and foreign suppliers. 5. IT CITY is focusing in retail business; the area that IT CITY is specialist, which will make IT CITY gain the competitive edge in term of Economy of Scale 6. IT products are the products that are used to increase the efficiency for both business and learning, therefore, it is resultant to the continuous increase in purchasing power. In the year 2011, the company will expand 8 more new branches from the existing 42 branches at the end of the year 2010. The additional 1 branch had already been opened in the first quarter and we expected to open 1 or 2 more branches in the second quarter.
