With a lengthy history spanning 35 years, Asia-Pacific Boating is the region's greatest source of news and information on the luxury boating industry, beloved by yachting enthusiasts and respected by industry professionals everywhere.
On 8th May, 2011, Asia-Pacific Boating hosted a 35th Anniversary Celebration Gala Dinner in honour of its many years in the industry. The Gala Dinner included a charity auction with all proceeds going to Yan Oi Tong. The items for the auction were sponsored by luxury brands and included the LEMAN self-winding Watch by Blancpain, Richard Hennessy Cognac by Hennessy and a one-day charter service by Simpson Marine. A total of HK$430,000 was raised and will be donated in its entirety to the “Yan Oi Tong Au Suet Ming Gifted Development Programme”.
As guests of honor, Mr. Fok Kai Shan Eric, Vice President of Fok Ying Tung Group, Dr. Chao Sze Tsung Cecil, Chairman of Cheuk Nang (Holdings) Ltd, Mr. Jimmy Tang, Chairman of Prince Jewellery & Watch Company and Mrs. CHOI WONG Ling Ling, Chairperson of the 32nd Term Board of Directors of Yan Oi Tong also attended the Gala Dinner. In addition to the charity auction, an evening highlight was the appearance of Hong Kong celebrity and singer Janice M. Vidal and the Metro Vocal Group who gave a special performance during the dinner.
