Adecco Thailand, Thailand’s leading human resource solutions provider, has emphasized its leadership position in digital marketing by launching a mobile application for job seekers via the Smart Phone (iPhone/BB/Android). Adecco is the first human resources solution provider in Thailand to provide a recruitment services through the smart phone.
This development follows Adecco’s successful introduction of a mobile application for the iPhone in 2010, for which almost 5,000 job seekers have since downloaded the application to search and apply for new jobs via iPhone. Adecco Thailand has launched these additional mobile applications in order to cover all smart phone platforms.
Tidarat Kanchanawat, Country Manager of Adecco Group Thailand, says “Adecco has prioritized to digital marketing for more than four years now because we have seen how on-line job seekers can benefit from this innovation and the ease of using it. The digital marketing is in line with the Adecco vision to identify candidates from all backgrounds and demographics.
Adecco Thailand’s first on-line marketing tool was its website - www.adecco.co.th - which this has been very successful and widely used by job seekers. Adecco still focuses on developing online marketing tools - especially mobile applications. More job seekers than expected downloaded the Adecco iPhone Application when it was introduced last year.
In 2011, Adecco Thailand has prepared applications to manage new platforms on smart phones such as for the Blackberry and Android, which is on the open sources system, allowing job seekers to easily search interesting jobs whenever they so choose. Moreover, job seekers can update information about job vacancies including updates to their resumes and when job interviews are to take place.
Adecco Thailand intends to further develop its website and add more features for smart phones to respond to ever changing user preferences and lifestyle. In addition, Adecco aims to increase applications to tap into tablets such as the iPad or Playbook.
