Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) recently organized an Aircraft Maintenance & Repair Seminar in cooperation with the Embassy of France in Thailand. On this occasion, Mr. Pascal Furth, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of France in Thailand, presented the opening speech. Mr. Chalermpon Intarawong, THAI Vice President, Aircraft Maintenance Center, Bangkok Base Department, and Mr. Bancha Chunnasit, THAI Deputy Vice President, Aircraft Maintenance Center, Bangkok Base Department, held a seminar on “THAI’s Future Aircraft Maintenance” at THAI’s Technical Department, Suvarnabhumi Airport. Mr. Gerald Petit, Mr. Yuthasit Suwanloy, THAI Vice President, Technical Support Department, Mrs. Parada Anekboon, THAI Deputy Vice President, Technical Support Department, and Mr. Anussorn Naksrichum, THAI Vice President, Ground Equipment Services Department, also participated in the event.
The Aircraft Maintenance & Repair Seminar is the first mini air show designed to share advanced technologies in aircraft parts, aviation and maintenance services, and interior equipment. Apart from the THAI Maintenance Department, Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited, Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited, Department of Civil Aviation, Thai Aviation Industries Company Limited, Aerospace Magazine, and other private entities also participated in the event. Activities included a display of technologies at exhibition booths. Newaircraft technologies were also placed on display by students from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Civil Aviation Training Center, Rangsit University and Kasetsart University.
