Bangkok--24 May--Sony Thai
As part of Sony’s environmental “Road to Zero” program, Sony Thai Co., Ltd. led by Mr. Toru Shimizu, Managing Director, altogether with the executives and over 300 employees recently undertook a mangrove forest planting activity at Baan Klong Kone, Samut Songkhram Province. The key purposes of the mangrove forest planting are to restore the balance of nature as well as to create awareness among the local people of the benefits of the mangroves.
“Road to Zero” is Sony’s global environmental plan that sets forth a long-term goal of achieving a zero environmental footprint — that is, reducing the environmental footprint of its corporate activities and of Sony products throughout their life cycle to zero.
