Bangkok Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre (BITEC) is regaining its strength, top ASEAN’s leading organisers line up for contract signing. Moreover, BITEC invested 350 million baht to construct Welcome Hall and Walkway which will be connected Sukumvit Road to hall and support business expansion for international exhibition and B2B.Recently, Reed Tradex had signed Multi-Year Contract with BITEC for three year in advance with the year 2011-2013 and will organise a forthcoming trade exhibition in ASEAN “Manufacturing Expo” which is the one of Thailand’s largest Manufacturing & Supporting Industries Event.

We recently had signed Multi-Year Contract with Reed Tradex Coompany Limited for three year in advance with the year of 2011-2013. They prepare to arrange Manufacturing Expo, the one of Thailand’s largest Manufacturing & Supporting Industries Event and also is the best partner to always choose BITEC as the location to host events since 14 years that BITEC founded.
Since BITEC opened its doors in September 1997, we remain our positioning as the most preferred venue for International Trade Exhibition in Asia Pacific Region. The opening of the extension to the Bangkok Mass Transit, BTS skytrain- Sukhumvit line (Onnut-Barings) in this coming August will be a key factor to consider on the expansion investment plan. We are building Welcome Hall and Walkway at cost of 350 million baht from Sukhumvit Road near the Bangna stations to BITEC which will be completed in this year. It will make more convenient for exhibitors and visitors to access BITEC from Sukhumvit Road. We assume to increase 15% in number of event organizing at BITEC. Meanwhile, we also have a renovation plan at cost of 400 million baht for the Exhibition Hall and Grand Hall, which will be start in 2012 onward.

Also, we will use full area at BITEC in all events to guarantee the confidence of exhibitors and visitors on the expansion of ongoing events. Manufacturing Expo is the ASEAN no. 1 trade show of Thailand’s Largest Manufacturing and Supporting Industries Events. This event responds the manufacturing industry by 70% for the automotive industry and automotive parts that are the most important industry in Thailand. The other 30% have comprehensive and responsive manufacturing for other industries such as Plastics and Packaging in the electronics industry. It’s close and convenient location for travelling support of manufacturers in the automotive and auto parts industries. Most of factories are located in the east of Thailand such as Chon Buri and Rayong provinces. Also, BITEC has complete infrastructure and accessibility because it’s close to the main express way on top of this, it is able to accommodate exhibition of heavy machinery and technology. Additionally, the electrical and pressure machine are available for machineries to be displayed.
