Bangkok--7 Jun--DASTA The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration or DASTA invites both Thai and foreign young-at-heart tourists to participate in “Happy Country”, a game specifically created for Facebook. There are 25 prizes up for grabs including tourist accommodation packages and DASTA special souvenirs, just log on at www.facebook.com/CreativeTourismThailand from June 2nd to August 5th, 2011. Happy Country is a bilingual flash game specially created by DASTA to promote the creative tourism campaign in Thailand. The project aims to encourage information, awareness, and interest in Thai creative tourism in both Thai and foreign tourists. The game is divided into four phases; Koh Chang Big Cleaner, Mangrove Forest, DASTA Ball Warrior, Sukhothai Ceramics Maker, and the final round. Each phase lasts two weeks, and the 1st prize winner of each phase will win accommodation packages and airplane tickets to Koh Chang, Ampawa, Pattaya, or Chiang Mai. The 2nd to 5th prize winners will receive special souvenirs from DASTA. More information and tips are available on the creative tourism Thailand Facebook page.
