Richard Jones (middle), SeaDream’s Business Development Director, Asia presents a SeaDream Yacht Club cruise for two to lucky winners Darren (left) and Natasha (right) Smith.
SeaDream Yacht Club celebrated its 1st year of operations in Asia by partnering with Bangkok’s Pacific City Club to host renowned French winemaker Monsieur Laurent Brotte for a memorable winemaker’s dinner.
Capping off a wonderful evening Richard Jones, Director, Business Development, Asia, presented two lucky diners with the prize of a SeaDream cruise in one of its the award-winning vessels that spend seasons in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean. The SeaDream experience, an exquisite casual, leisurely, seagoing holiday that reflects SeaDream’s mantra “Its Yachting, not Cruising” will be enjoyed by Darren Smith, an Army Attache? at the US Embassy in Bangkok, and his wife Natasha.
During the evening, guests enjoyed vintages from France’s Rhone Valley including the highly regarded Chateauneuf du Pape Domaine Barville, Optimum 2009, and an excellently prepared five-course meal prepared by Thierry Loncle, a former apprentice of Michelin Star Chef Bernard Labrosse.
Richard Jones said: “SeaDream Yacht Club is pleased to be celebrating our first year of sales operations in Asia and awareness of our brand is growing throughout the region. SeaDream has an entirely unique concept of small yachting-style voyages where the emphasis is on an elegant, unstructured seagoing experience. It is a casual, yachting lifestyle and I am delighted to be able to offer this prize and I’m sure the lucky winners will have a trip they will never forget.”
SeaDream Yacht Club operates the two twin mega-yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II, each with a maximum capacity of 112 guests and 95 crew and offers 7-14 night voyages to international yachting playgrounds and intimate hideaways.
From May to October SeaDream sails Northern Europe, the Baltic, the Norwegian Fjords and the Mediterranean. Many itineraries include overnight stays in port allowing guests to experience the nightlife ashore. From November to April SeaDream navigates the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Guests can enjoy SeaDream’s Champagne and Caviar Splash?, a fantastic private beach party serving caviar in the surf. The tropical climate is the perfect location to use the yacht’s water toys from glass-bottomed kayak’s to jet-skis and wakeboards.
