Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC) recently launched the project called “Reduce Your Carbon Footprint”, pilot project for BITEC cast members. They were calculated greenhouse gas emissions caused by behavior in daily life within one month. This project aims to create awareness to reduce their carbon footprint, global warming and eco-friendly.
After collected data of members such as electronic energy utilize, travel by vehicle and food consumption, members will have information and suggestions to change their behavior for reduction of carbon footprint. After the trial period, members got plants to grow and look after at home or work, which will help to reduce pollution as well.
Also, BITEC remains our commitment to produce environmental projects and continue to release information to employees to acknowledge and participate in the future.
