Already at the top of the buffet table in Bangkok, The Square at Novotel Silom joins the Serie A of Italian feasts.
Italian has long been a well-represented cuisine in Bangkok. But not so common is an all-Italian buffet allowing guests to enjoy a tremendous range of dishes at a single meal. Now every Wednesday night from 1 July 2011, The Square at Novotel Bangkok Fenix Silom changes that by transforming its popular spread into an Italian-only extravaganza — and an affordable one at that with a price of only THB 640++ for adult and THB 380++ for child ages 6 to 12 years.
Gather colleagues, friends and family for main course highlights such as porcini risotto, roasted chicken with creamy polenta, seared pork tenderloin, home-made meatball with basil tomato sauce, beef or lamb stew, eggplant parmigiana, and baked ziti.
The buffet’s Pasta Live Station will be preparing ravioli with mushroom, penne and other pasta choices complemented with sauces like carbonara, bacon pesto and olio.
Appetiser, salad and soup offerings include beef carpaccio; Parma ham with melon; antipasto such as grilled and marinated artichoke with olive; piperade; and roasted tomato soup.
The Square’s Wednesday-night-only Italian buffet likewise will have a genuine pizzeria feel for the Pizza Station will serve piping-hot pies with meat, seafood and vegetarian toppings.
The meal ends with a bit of la dolce vita in the form of desserts such as tiramisu and figs pannacotta.
