The Burasari Group is pleased to announce the appointment of travel industry veteran Mr. Bert Lambrichs as Vice President of Sales and Marketing as of June, 2011. Mr. Lambrichs began his career in Asia when he moved to Bangkok in 2000 where he joined Siam Express, a Bangkok based inbound tour operator, as Director of Sales. He subsequently moved to Diethelm Travel as Director of Sales & Marketing for worldwide markets and his responsibilities included negotiating contracts with over two thousand hotels and resorts throughout the world. In 2006, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing and responsible for sales and marketing for the 12 countries that Diethelm Travel serves.
After 8 great years at Diethelm Travel, Mr. Lambrichs decided to “jump the fence” and moved from the tour operating side when he accepted an offer from the Burasari Group a Bangkok based deluxe boutique hotel and food and beverage company. The Burasari Group currently operates The Burasari Resort, Patong, the Shanghai Mansion, Bangkok and a number of restaurants, including Kantok Restaurant, Naughty Radish, Misty’s Bar and Just for you in Patong and Cotton Jazz Bar in Bangkok . The Burasari Group has two new properties in the pipeline and has also completed the new Spa by Burasari in Patong.
