The Regent’s School, Pattaya, Mr.Michael Walton ,principal, together with the student volunteers and teachers organised the Fun Beach Games Day at the Nam-Rin beach in Rayong to enhance community enrichment and contribute to the educational grants for the children from the Camillian Social Centre under The St. Camillus Foundation of Thailand which supports and manages seven projects in Thailand, including running a medical care unit, networking for people living with HIV/AIDS and organising a scholarship program for orphaned children.
This warm Sunday was fun-packed for all nearly 100 children and volunteers. The beach games started with a massive tug-of-war, before the enormous number of kids split into doing different activities ranging from football to making sandcastles, playing around in the water to final games of baseball. All the happy faces sent a clear message of their great day and a valued experience -- to know, to care and to share good things to new friends and our beloved community.
