The Blue Elephant Group officially launched its outside catering service today on board the Manohra with a cruise down the Chao Phraya River. The service includes fine dining, elegant cocktails, creative or authentic Thai buffets, Chef’s Table and special meals cooked personally by Blue Elephant’s Master Chef and founder, Nooror Somany Steppe.
“We are delighted to be able to now offer our gourmet cuisine outside of our restaurant environment, making it more accessible to discerning clients as part of their hospitality and entertaining events. Our aim is to provide a catering service with a difference — meaning that clients can have their F&B requirements customized to their needs to enable them to hold parties or events that reflect their individual style and taste. Apart from that, we will also create a genuine Thai feeling and atmosphere by using natural wooden items, hand-woven wicker baskets, bronze cutlery, our Blue Elephant dishes and containers along with lotus and Thai orchid flower decorations”, said Master Chef Nooror.
Potential target customers are premium event organizers, leading local and multinational companies, embassies as well as high net worth private Thai and foreign individuals.
Blue Elephant’s catering service will range from cocktails, starting from Baht 900++ per person for a minimum of 50 guests to an exclusive Chef’s Table at Baht 4,400++ per person for up to 6 diners. While lunch set menus for a minimum of 20 guests will start from Baht 1,100++ per person, a buffet for a minimum of 30 diners will cost from Baht 1,500++ per person depending on the menu selected. For special occasions, Master Chef Nooror will provide cooking shows at a cost of Baht 50,000 net/event. An additional catering fee will be applicable to cover transportation, labour costs, equipment and utensils and vary according to the number of guests or diners.
