Recently, Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited or SSI supported the arrangement of the “ASEAN Workshop on X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy and X-ray Fluorescence (AWX2011)” organized by Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization) (SLRI) at Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Many synchrotron light experts from foreign countries shared their knowledge and technique concerning synchrotron light research, so it can be used with the research work effectively to both Thai and foreign researches. There were foreign experts on synchrotron light shared knowledge and technique on synchrotron light research, so that they can be used with research work effectively to Thai and foreign researchers. Researchers from SSI have also been invited to participate in this workshop. Asst. Prof. Dr. Supagorn Rugmai, SLRI Acting Director, Dr. Wantana Klysubun, Beamline Manager BL8 and Dr. Somchai Tancharakorn, Beamline Manager BL6B (2nd, 3rd and 4th from left respectively) courteously** visited public relation board and works of SSI which have been displayed in this workshop.
