Brother enhances its printing portfolio with five printer models, featuring superior cost-saving benefits under concept “Brother Multi Save Multifunction”
The move is expected to increase its printer sales by 15%
Brother has announced the launch of fives new Multi Save Multifunction Centers—DCP-7055, DCP-7060D, MFC-7360, MFC-7470D and MFC-7860DW, featuring unrivalled cost-saving benefits including Save Paper, Save Toner, Save Energy, Save Space, Save Time and more importantly Save Money. The new range of Brother printing solution comes with highly affordable prices, starting at only 5,490 baht. As part of the consistent move to address customer demands to cut printing cost, the move is regarded as one of Brother’s largest effort to stimulate printer market after closing last fiscal year with impressive growth of 20% in printer business, driving Thailand as the market with highest sales in ASEAN.
Mr. Takao Shima, Managing Director, Brother Commercial (Thailand), a leader in printing technology for entry level, SMEs and enterprises reiterated, “In 2010, Brother (Thailand) recorded highest printer sales in ASEAN, accounting for more than 30% of Brother total sales in the region. Total sales for Thai market in the fiscal year of 2010, staring from April 2010 to March 2011, ended with a year-on-year increase of 20%. With higher confidence, we, thus, plan to increase sales in this 2011 fiscal year by 15%.” Brother has put in place an aggressive plan to drive sales in printer market, by focusing on its existing customer base in SMEs and corporate and government agencies, as well as expanding to new markets such as SOHO (Small Office & Home Office) and enterprise segments, which emphasis has been placed on cost-effectiveness and printing quality. Furthermore, Brother plans to focus in upcountry market by increasing the proportion for the high potential market to 35% by offering new cost-saving printing solutions under the concept “Brother Multi Save Multifunction”.
According to Mr. Teerawut Supapanpinyo, General Manager for Sales and Marketing Division, Brother Commercial (Thailand), “Brother plans to employ integrated marketing strategy. On the front of marketing and sales, we strengthen our exclusive sales training course via Sale Excellence programme, aiming to increase sales of each branch. Also, we would continue to launch marketing activities, including Above the Line and Below the Line to raise the brand awareness, as well as social media and sales promotion campaigns including Music Marketing capmpaign. Meanwhile, in terms of product strategy, Brother will focus on the introduction of new products, featuring laser printer portfolio such as the newly-launched affordable Mono Laser Printer. In terms of aftersales strategy, Brother, as the only brand in printer market with extensive number of 148 service centers across the nation, this year furthers this success with an introduction of Brother Service Excellence programme to enhance its aftersales service to the excellence for maximum customer satisfaction.
At the start of the fiscal year of 2011, Brother has introduced five Multi Save multi-function printers— DCP-7055, DCP-7060D, MFC-7360, MFC-7470D and MFC-7860DW as part of the effort to penetrate SOHO segment. With prices starting at 5,490 baht, the new line of printing solution offers superior cost-saving benefits in terms of Save Paper, Save Toner, Save Energy, Save Space, Save Time and last but not least Save Money. The official launch for new printer models was enlivened by actor and model Kan Kantathavorn and actress Pimmada ‘Pim Zaza’ Boriruksuppakorn, who also successful SMEs entrepreneurs. Also on hand the event included First Lieutenant Satha Suparb from Petroleum Thai Corporation Co., Ltd, and SME guru from a renowned TV programe “SME Teetaek” Thunyawat Chaitrakul who unveiled keys to success for SMEs.
Details of the five Mono Laser Multifunction printers are as follow:
DCP-7055, priced at 5,490 baht is a 3-in-1 mono laser printer with print speeds up to 20 pages per minute. It also comes with lowest price toner at only 690 baht for maximum cost saving.
DCP-7060D, priced at 6,490 baht is a 3-in-1 mono laser printer with print speeds up to 24 pages per minute. It features automatic double-sided printing for highest cost effective.
MFC-7360, priced at 6,490 baht is a 5-in-1 monochrome laser printer, scanner, copier, fax & PC-Fax that comes with up to 24 pages per minute black and white laser printing. Plus, it includes PC-Fax function to reduce Junk Fax and ID Copy function.
MFC-7470D, priced at 8,490 baht, is a 5-in-1 monochrome laser printer, scanner, copier, fax & PC-Fax that comes with up to 26 pages per minute black and white laser printing and automatic double-sided printing function and telephone handsets.
MFC-7860DW, priced at 9,490 baht is a 5-in-1 monochrome laser printer, scanner, copier, fax & PC-Fax. It highlights up to 26 pages per minute black and white laser printing and automatic double-sided printing function as well as space saving advantage with Wireless network.
