Bangkok--14 Jul--Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa Mr. Francis Zimmerman, General Manager of Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, proudly announces the appointment of Melissa Tracey as Hotel Manager. Melissa brings with her 17 years of experience in the hotel industry, primarily in her home country Australia and more recently in Hong Kong. She has a proven track record for delivering commendable results. Melissa joins Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa from a three year Executive Assistant Manager position with Langham Place Hotel in Hong Kong, where she managed all Rooms areas. She was also responsible for all VIP guests as well as the contemporary hotel’s image in her role as brand ambassador. These responsibilities place her in excellent stead to provide elite customer care for Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa’s most valued guests and to uphold the property’s unique image as the city’s only true riverside resort. In addition, Melissa is already familiar with the Marriott brand, having worked early on in her career for Sydney Marriott Hotel. She later worked for the W Hotel in Sydney as part of the pre opening team and over 5 years achieving excellent Rooms Division profit and an increase in loyalty program enrolment. A strong passion for leading teams to achieve hotel goals is balanced by an emphasis on team coaching to exceed guest expectations.
