AirAsia and local residents of Ubon Ratchathani celebrate one of the most traditional candle festivals in the country. Two daily AirAsia flights from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani and direct flights from Phuket to Ubon 3 days per week, are fully booked as travelers gather to see the traditional candle festival and parade. AirAsia proudly sponsors a carved candle and brings along Tack Panranyu, Thailand’s hot celebrity, to join the festivities during 15-16 July 2011.

AirAsia’s beautiful flight attendants along with Thai celebrity, Tack Paranyu, will be taking part in the candle parade, while the Sri Pradu candle carving training center will be supported and entered in the annual parade competition by AirAsia. The celebrity will also learn the tradition of candle carving during the festivities. The event will take place on 15-16 July 2011, at Tung Sri Muang, Ubon Ratchathani.
