Rock and roll to the legendary music of “Elvis Presley”, “Tina Turner” and “Rod Stewart” tribute artists
Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s leading destination for business, leisure and entertainment, presents Hot August Nights 2011, a sizzling concert that will take music lovers back in time to the golden eras of music from the 1950’s to the 1980’s. This celebration of music will feature tribute artists performing popular favorites by some of music’s greatest legends: Elvis Presley, Tina Turner and Rod Stewart. This exclusive concert will be held on 12 and 13 August, 200 meters above ground at the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark. Tickets go on sale 20 July.
These tribute acts not only sound like Elvis Presley, Tina Turner and Rod Stewart, they look just like them too. The three legendary singers are represented by Cookie Watkins who is the voice behind Tina Turner, Rod Stewart lookalike Rob Caudil, and Nathan Belt who will bring the King of Rock n’ Roll Elvis Presley back to life. The tribute artists have dedicated their entire careers to presenting the musical memoirs of the musical greats.
Music lovers can look forward to chart topping hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do With it”, “Let’s Stay Together”, “Have I Told You Lately”, “Some Guys Have All The Luck”, “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Jailhouse Rock” that will bring you back to a much cherished time.
Hot August Nights 2011 is the first installment of an annual ticketed concert that will be held at Marina Bay Sands. Tickets retail at S$63 and include a welcome drink and complimentary entry to the Sands SkyPark.
The Sands SkyPark is an architectural masterpiece sitting on top of the three hotel towers at Marina Bay Sands and boasts the best views of Singapore’s city skyline.
