This time the 30 pageant finalists will be staying at Kantary Beach Hotel Villas and Suites, Khao Lak, from July 21 to 24. Here they will learn everything they need to know to compete in the pageant. And as Khao Lak is such a naturally splendid place, he believes that each contestant will be very impressed and go back with good memories of her experience. "The Miss Thailand World contest is one of the most famous events. It is followed by millions of television viewers across the country. The presence of all the contestants in Khao Lak, Phang-Nga will definitely help to promote tourism. After the 2004 tsunami, everything, especially nature has returned to its original condition. Each and every place, beach and island is still beautiful and some more so than before. Phang-Nga is also very easily accessible — it’s just a 50-minute drive from Phuket International Airport, so this event is a great opportunity for the general public, especially tourists to learn more about this beautiful destination. Kasemkij Hotels is delighted to be part of promoting tourism in Phang Nga," said Phoomiphat. Mr. Rak Chaikulsereewath, General Manager of the Kantary Beach Hotel, Khao Lak, added that he was certain that the visiting contestants would be impressed with the hotel, “Everything is well in place to welcome the Miss Thailand World 2011 Finalists. We also have a beautiful, white sandy beach, which can be used for a variety of activities, as well as many kinds of water sports. "Over the next four days at Kantary Beach Hotel, the contestants will not only learn everything they need to know to compete in the pageant, but they will also take part in tourism promotional activities such as self-shot video clips of Phang-Nga. Apart from this, the finalists will visit and help out at the orphanages housing victims of the 2004 tsunami. Finally, I hope all the young women enjoy their stay, the hotel’s extensive facilities and its beautiful setting." Mr. Rak concluded.
