Bangkok--25 Jul--TAT Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) invites fine food enthusiasts to participate in “International TASTE 2011 Amazing Thailand”July 22-24, 2011 at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is organizing a food tasting festival, “International TASTE 2011 Amazing Thailand”, to present an assortment of delicious dishes and desserts made from high-quality local products. More than 30 fine restaurants representing an array of national cuisines will offer delicious low-price menus to food lovers. With this unique event, TAT seeks to enhance public awareness and promote the unique quality and magnificent flavor of Thai and international food in Thailand. The event will be held on July 22nd — 24th, 2011 from 11.00 a.m. - 9.00 p.m. at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon. Miss Pensuda Priaram, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), reveals, “International TASTE 2011 Amazing Thailand is the second consecutive year of this premier food-tasting event. The main objective of the festival is to boost interest among tourists in tasting Thai and international cuisine by presenting a wide variety of delicious menu selections and desserts from famous Thai and international restaurants. Moreover, we aim to promote the cooking methods and distinctive identity of Thai and international cuisine in Thailand." “All ingredients will be high grade local products with international quality standards, which Thai agriculturists produce in their home regions. Some of the local products that have been cultivated in Thailand include high-quality Kurobuta pork from a farm in Chonburi, and gourmet Japanese rice from Mae Chan district, Chiang Rai,” Miss Pensuda said. At the event, over 30 well-known restaurants such as Portobello Day Caf?, Swang (Hua Lam Pong), Mu Sate Pinkaew, Arirang, Indus, and many more will present delicacies for food-tasters at inexpensive prices. In addition, participants can enjoy a range of entertaining activities such as a cooking demonstration featuring celebrity chefs such as Chef Frerard Herve from Le Beaulieu, Chef Pam - Pichaya Utharntharm, Winner of Asia Youth Hope Cooking Contest 2011, Chef Nate - Nateampai Sarakosass, Executive Chef from Triplets Brasserie, Chef Nok - Quanchai Panitpichetvong from Thann Restaurant, and TV stars such as Navin Yavapolkul (Navin Tar), Pong - Navat Kulratanarak, and Pope - Thanawat Wattanaputi, an international cooking show presented by Arirang, and a mocktail mixologist show from Teerakit Jarujinda, a well-known Mixologistin Thailand.
