Sathida Prompiriya (Nan) is the eldest among three sisters in her family, living in Bangkok, Thailand. With the love for music and Disney's pictures since her childhood, she sought her own way of singing for a leisure. She later started out a music study by taking piano lessons with Mr. Somchai Wongkumpoo and became more inclined to Classical and Broadway singing after joining Chulalongkorn Univer...sity Chorus Club during her college life. Nan decided to follow her passion in singing by taking her first formal voice lessons with Mr. Nati Kantathaworn and gradually starting her teaching career as a part time job. In 2005, she won the top prize for National Singing Competition held by the Thai Government and received the first prize and popular vote in Chulalongkorn University's 13th Singing Contest.
She earned her bachelor degree with Honours in Business Law from Chulalongkorn University by the age of 21. In 2006, soon after graduation, she received an LLCM Diploma in Singing from London College of Music and Media. In 2011, at her age of 25, she won her first international prize in a world class competition as the Overall Champion for Senior Singing Devision (Age 25-29) from World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA), where she participated in five singing categories: Broadway, Opera, Pop, World Music, and R&B/Soul/Jazz and won gold medals from all of them. Her other previous works include:
- Taking a leading role (Euridice) in Orfeo under the production of Thailand Philhamonic Orchrestra and another role in the performance of Ayothaya Opera by Mr. Somtow Sujaritkul
- Performing in the concert “SOMEWHERE IN TIME; an Exquisite Musical Moment” on 11th and 12th November 2010
- Receiving an honour to perform His Majesty's Royal Compositions for the KING’S Birthday Celebration in Grand Palace, organized by Bureau Of The Royal Houshold
- Teaching as a voice trainer at Trinity Rock Music School, Peterson Music Academy , Mifa International Music Academy, and Anglo Singapore International School
- Working with 'Love Is' Music Production where she joined in KUNKSANOVA album, played the Boyd Kosiyabong song book, and sang several Drama Ost. Such as Mafia Terak ,Klin Keaw Klang Jai and Mor Sam Chan
- Joining in Sweet Sunday album under GMM GRAMMY Records, which was released in November 2010
Additionally, Nan has also been coached by Mr. Santi Runpae, Mr. Kittinant Chinsamran, Mr. Kim Jun Man, and most recently, since 2008, by Mr. Suruj Predarat, to all of whom she always gives every credit she received from her singing abilities.
At present Nan is a full time voice trainer at her own studio as well as working for 'Love Is' Music Production, where she has involved in several music projects and recordings.
Sathida's outstanding achievements in singing are summarised below:
