A native of Switzerland, Chef Urs has a European flair for creating delectable desserts as well as experience in both Hong Kong and China. His masterful creations melt the best of East and West to bring you some modern twists on the traditional Mooncake.
Our Hilton Signature Cheese Mooncakes with a Snow Skin are a chance to try a modern variation that is already an established favourite among a new generation of Mooncake enthusiasts. Traditional flavours such a Green Tea Cheese and Lotus Seeds sit alongside sweet, Stracciatella cream cheese with chocolate chips, Mocca Cheese or the truly decadent Strawberry Mooncake. For the chocoholics amongst you, Chef Urs presents the indulgent Hilton Chocolate Moon Cake collection. Choose from Dark Chocolate with Pistachio, Amarena Chocolate, try the finest French Sea Salt from Chocolate with Caramel Fleur De Sel or even the famous Vienna chocolate cake with Sacher Tarte Chocolate Mooncake — all priced at THB 120 per piece or THB 480 for a boxed set.
And finally… no Mooncake festival would be completed without a nod to the tradition that sparked off a whirlwind of culinary creativity in the Millennium Hilton’s kitchens — so Chef Urs is proud to offer his classic range featuring silky egg yolk combined with durian, lotus seed paste, red bean or custard.
