Teppanyaki is derived from the Japanese teppan meaning iron pan and yaki meaning grilled or pan-fried. Using the freshest produce, cooked quickly on a high heat, this unique cuisine is both healthy and delicious. At Kisso, the teppanyaki kitchen turns cooking into theatre, creating a dramatic up close and personal dining experience. Guests can watch as their meal is cooked in front of them in an exciting display of dexterity and creativity.
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening, lovers of Japanese cuisine can enjoy a special selection of teppanyaki dishes created by Kisso’s gifted chefs.
Showcasing their skill and energy, Kisso’s passionate culinary team with cook up enticing meats such as Australian beef sirloin, duck breast, pork, and chicken, all cooked over a searing heat to succulent perfection. The seafood selection includes fresh prawns, snow fish, salmon, mackerel, oysters, mussels and squid. To accompany the meats and seafood are teppanyaki style mixed vegetables, shitake and enoki mushrooms, asparagus, soba noodle soup, fried egg noodles, fried rice, garlic rice and much more. All dishes are served with a garden vegetable salad, miso soup, pickles, and followed by fresh fruits or ice cream.
