A technical consulting firm, PTT Energy Solutions is ready to provide services for PTT Group, an addition to strengthen the portfolio of competitiveness that will help propel PTT Group to become world leading company.
Mr. Prasert Bunsumpun, President & Chief Executive Officer of PTT Public Company Limited presided over the Technical Services Agreement (TSA) signing ceremony between PTT Energy Solutions (PTTES) and companies in PTT Group namely; PTT Public Company Limited, Thaioil Public Company Limited, PTT Aromatics and Refining Public Company Limited, and IRPC Public Company Limited.
PTTES, a company of PTT Group is set to be a technical consulting company that will foster Knowledge Management (or KM) and act as a means to strengthen the Group’s technical human resource pool. In the first few years of operation, the company will primarily emphasize on strengthening engineering technical capability within PTT Group. In addition, PTTES has signed up a 5-year contract with Shell Global Solutions for provision of technical services to the internal customers of the PTT group.
In the long term, PTTES aims to be the Technical Center of Excellence as well as collecting technical knowledge to reinforce competitive capability and support business expansion of PTT Group with the vision to be the World-Class Technology and Engineering Unit within year 2020.
Mr. Prasert expressed that the magnet that will attract new talents to the organization will be the challenge to create of proprietary technologies and innovations. With strong commitments from top management and best-quality human resources, PTTES will reinforce PTT Group strength to move towards its goal of being listed in Fortune 100.
