Daniel Tannenbaum is Group Director Sales & Marketing FICO Hotels based in Bangkok with responsibility for the current 4 operating FICO properties managed by Accor, the Novotel Bangkok Fenix Ploenchit, Novotel Bangkok Fenix Silom, Le Fenix Bangkok and the Mercure Samui Fenix plus the Hotel Muse scheduled to open in September.
Tannenbaum has worked for Accor for 16 years in a variety of Sales & Marketing roles covering three continents including New Zealand, Australia, the United States, China, India and now Thailand. Prior to his Bangkok tenure he was Regional Director Sales & Marketing Accor India and prior to this China. Tannenbaum also opened Accor’s USA flagship Sofitel Chicago Water Tower in downtown Chicago, Illinois. With over 20 years experience in hotels and with 16 years in sales & marketing both at property and regional level, he is acutely aware of the challenges of launching & running properties in a variety of market situations. An American, he attended Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, although calls Melbourne Australia home.
