Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) yesterday, 24 August 2011, opened the two-day “Safe and Warm from the Heart” event at the Company’s head office. The event includes a half-day seminar and a two-day exhibition for promoting and communicating knowledge about different aspects of customer services that delivers a safe, warm, and well-cared-for experience for customers.
Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI President, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar that was later followed by a two-day exhibition event.
Captain Asdavut Watanangura, THAI Executive Vice President for Operations Department, said that THAI’s Operations Department is responsible for over 7 thousand personnel, mostly consisting of pilots and air crew, with the different functions within the Operations Department having undergone Knowledge Management implementation in their approach to deliver “Safe and Warm from the Heart” service.
The semi-academic event attracted a full crowd throughout the day with many exhibition booths from various THAI departments such as Technical Department, Cabin Crew Department, Flight Training Academy, as well as from businesses and academia such as Faculty of Engineering of Chulalongkorn University, CAT Telecom Public Company Limited, health and beauty agencies, and environmental conservation businesses.
