Bluetrek Technologies Ltd, a leading smartphone and tablet accessory products manufacturer, officially announced today that it has entered the Thailand market with the launch of a wide range of its latest Bluetooth products: Carbon, MusiCALL and Speaky, together with the new “LostDog’’ brand of smartphone and tablet cases.
The company has appointed SiS Distribution (Thailand) Public Company Ltd as its authorized distributor and all Bluetrek products are also available at the shops of the Copperwired Group throughout the country and it aims to gain 5 percent of the accessory business in Thailand.
SIS Distribution General Manager Mitri Nedemahakul said there were more than 4 billion mobile handsets globally, of which around 27%, or over 1 billion units, were smartphones, citing an infographic at Digital Buzz (http://www.digitalbuzzblog.com/2011-mobile-statistics-stats-facts-marketing-infographic/).
“We have perceived a huge opportunity for smartphone accessories and case products. In Thailand, there are more than 3 million units of smartphones and tablets in use and the demand for accessories and cases is very high. SIS Distribution (Thailand) has the largest distribution channels with more than 4,000 shops and retail stores nationwide and this will enable consumers to access our products and we estimate we will gain a 5 percent market share,” Mr. Mitri said.
“Bluetrek has launched two Bluetooth models in Thailand, Carbon and MusiCALL, and both are designed for high durability. The Bluetrek headsets have been developed to reduce exposure to electromagnetic radiation by up to 98.8%. Besides, Bluetrek has also introduced the latest Bluetooth accessory for cars, the stylishly-designed Speaky that comes in vivid colours and offers ease of use whereby customers can just place it or hang it in their car,” he said.
Bluetrek has also launched a new brand, “LostDog”, which are cases for Apple’s iPhone, iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Made from carefully-researched natural, recycled or recyclable materials to provide the best protection for mobile electronic gadgets, LostDog cases feature user-friendly designs and incorporate the artwork of French artist Marc Aurele, according to Ernest Ip, Managing Director of Bluetrek Technologies.
Mr Mitri added that all Bluetrek’s products and LostDog cases would be available at the shops of Copperwired Group.
