Food and Wine matching night at The Rembrandt Hotel

Bangkok--1 Sep--The Rembrandt Hotel & Towers The Rembrandt Hotel proudly teamed up with the BKK Wine Club hosting a Wine Matching dinner on Saturday, August 27th at the da Vinci Italian Restaurant located on the fourth floor at The Rembrandt Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 18. The evening included stunning gourmet creations from the duo of Executive Chef Andrew Mann and Somchai Jaitrong, da Vinci chef, served with an excellent selection of international wines. All wine lovers were welcomed with Follador Prosecco Gold and home made Italian style bread with infused oils. Then came more stunning dishes starting with the seared scallop with peperonata and candied olives, Risotti, Wagyu beef fillet with roasted balsamic shallots and succulent chocolate pudding for dessert. Featured wines included Tenuta Nuova 2005 (Casanova di Neri), Oreno 2006 (Tenuta Sette Ponti), Flaccianello 2007 (Fontodi), Grappa Piemonte Invecchiata (Beccaris Grappa and Distillated) and much more. The event was crowded with wine lovers from all nations including Hiroshi Matsunaga, founder of Wineroom 1920 and BKK Wine Club, Rembrandt’s General Manager Eric Hallin, Satoko Mizuno, General Manager of Bangkok Madam, Davide Contusais G Four sales manager, Quentin Fougeroux, Rembrandt’s food and beverage manager and other local wine lovers.
