The September/October 2011 issue of Action Asia magazine opens a new chapter in the magazine’s history as it now sports a fresh, contemporary look headed by a new logo.
At the forefront of adventure travel since its inception in 1992, Action Asia is a ‘must read’ for outdoors types who want to do more with their time off than simply hang out on a crowded beach. Jam-packed with accounts of expeditions and photos, the publication takes its readers along the road less travelled, from secret surf spots to hidden cliffs.
Inside the revamped Action Asia, all the familiar elements remain: readers can expect stories of high adventure, inspiring photographs and plenty of practical tips on when and where to go. But the new design brings with it a more effective use of white space to allow the pictures and columns of text to complement each other better.
The change comes ahead of an exciting period for Action Asia leading into 2012, a major milestone as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Steve White, Editor-in-chief of Action Asia said: “That logo has been with us since the very first issue in Summer 1992. We all felt it was time to refresh the look, to help us appeal to a wider audience.”
