John Westoby, Managing Director South East Asia of Absolute Hotel Services and General Manager of Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok is pleased to announce the appointment of senior executives of the pre-opening team for the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok, a 32-story, 390-room deluxe property, connected to BTS Sky Train (Surasak Station), which will open in December 2011.
Mr.Tee Chansorn is appointed as Executive Assistant Manager — Rooms. He has held various management positions in many 5-star hotels such as Six Senses Yao Noi, Evason Hua Hin and Six Senses Spa, Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa, The Peninsula Bangkok and JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. Prior to joining, Tee was executive assistant manager at Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok.
Ms. Suwanich Kanjanakunya joins the team as Executive Assistant Manager — Food and Beverage. Suwanich has very strong background in the sales and catering arena with almost 20 years’ experience in leading hotels such as Mandarin Oriental Hotel Bangkok and Conrad Hotel Bangkok. Prior to joining, she was director of catering at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok.
Appointed and based at Eastin Grand Sathorn, Vice President Finance (South East Asia), Mr. Patrapee Karinchai was formerly director of finance at the Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok for 3 years. Prior to joining Eastin Hotels & Residences, he was financial controller at U Chiang Mai and chief accountant at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle.
With extensive experience, Mr. Pairoj Puangsombat is appointed as Director of Engineering. Prior to this position, he has held various senior positions in engineering in leading hotels such as The Peninsula Bangkok, Novotel Bangkok Hotel, Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Lebua Hotel at State Tower as well as the Hansar Bangkok Hotel & Residences prior to joining this hotel.
