Chris Bailey (standing, 4th left), Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Centara Hotels & Resorts presents 110 sets of soccer uniform to children and youths who are team members of Klongtoey Football Club, at Klongtoey Community Centre, under the support of Urban Neighbours of Hope (UNOH). Also seen in the photo is Asley Barker (standing, 4th right), International Director of the UNOH organisation in Bangkok. This donation was arranged as part of Centara’s corporate social responsibilities.
Urban Neighbour of Hope (UNOH) is a foundation whose objective is to leverage urban neighbourhoods from poverty and help them to discover their strengths and talents and find opportunity to change their lives for the better. Currently, there are nine UNOH neighbourhood-based teams living and serving Christ amongst the urban poor in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Mae Sot and Bangkok. Klongtoey Football Club is one of UNOH’s initiatives for Klongtoey youth to bring out their abilities and keep them away from being victims of harsh environment.
