To raise funds for the ‘Hematological Cancer Research Centre’at Chulalongkorn Hospital for Cancer Research
For the 5th year in a row, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok is organizing the Christmas Tree Charity Project and this year, is in collaboration with one of Thailand’s leading and well-known home magazines for modern living, Livingetc. and will support the various cancer researches carried out by the ‘Hematological Cancer Research Centre’ at Chulalongkorn Hospital.
The event is part of the festive celebration that the hotel is organizing to commemorate HM King Bhumibol’s 84th birthday; to ring in the festive season and to thank our clients and friends with our traditional Gala Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony which will take place on November 15, 2011 in the presence of HRH Princess Soamsawali, in our Lobby.
The Christmas Tree Charity Project will once again showcase the creativity of a number of Thailand’s renowned and leading interior and fashion designers, architects, celebrities and lifestyle artists in decorating the Christmas trees commissioned by select luxury partners. Some of the celebrity artists who have volunteered their time and effort in the name of charity are: Proudphan Laohapongchana, Ravit Terdwong, Wichuda Sitakalin, Amata Luphaiboon, Vasu Virajsilp, and others. An exciting selection of beautifully adorned Christmas trees decorated by these artists will be displayed and on view by all hotel guests and holiday shoppers during the period of November 2 until December 26, 2011. To make the event more exciting, members of the public will have a chance to vote for the best decorated Christmas Tree from November 2 until November 15 (at noon) and a Princess trophy will be presented to each of the winning company and artist who have received the most number of votes by HRH Princess Soamsawali on the night of the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
