Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand (4th left), President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), visited the THAI Catering facility to observe the blind wine-tasting of red and white wines. Premium wines from France, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Germany and the United States of America were sampled by invited wine experts: Mr. Thawatchai Tappitak (2nd left), Columnist of Bangkok Business Newspaper, Mr. Pairach Intaput (6th left), the Best Sommelier of Thailand 1996, Mr. Piyapong Karnchanatanon (5th left), the Commercial Director of the Lifestyle 21 Company Limited, Mr. Kamolsak Tangtumniyom (3rd left), Columnist of Siamrath Weekly News Magazine and Wine Today Magazine. A custodian of this wine tasting was Mr. Chumbhot Thitivongse (left), Director of THAI In-Flight Catering Planning & Control Department. The Top 40 wines rated by the experts will be selected for serving passengers on board THAI flights in 2012.
