Nichkhun introduced as presenter of new experience from “Life from All Angle”, ensuring No. 1 position at year-end
Samsung reinforces its global leadership in digital camera innovation by expanding the success of Samsung 2View technology with the launch of another revolutionary digital camera, Samsung MultiView MV800. The new camera comes with a unique Flip-out Display to let you frame every shot and view back your images on the brilliant touch screen from any perspective. The launch event introduced internationally-renowned Nichkhun Horvejkul as the new presenter who will jointly open up a brand new experience of “Life from All Angle”. The company is confident to extend its pre-eminent role in innovation and claim the top spot in this segment this year.

And because of the increasingly high image quality offered by digital cameras, the growth of this market looks very promising. We can expect to see continued emergence of various innovations and introduction of more new products to meet the growing demand of consumers.”
By taking a pioneering role in world-class innovation, Samsung is widely regarded as the brand that keeps setting modern lifestyle trends. One of the company’s recent successes in this area was its introduction of Samsung 2View, the first-ever series of digital cameras with an LCD display on both the front and the back. It is packed with a range of unique features and selectable options for users to tell a fun and creative story in their own style, in line with the camera’s concept of “Life from All Angle”.
Samsung MultiView MV800 gives photography added enjoyment, whether it is capturing a perfect self portrait or extreme low and high angled shots to demonstrate your photographic prowess. In the style-conscious guise of an ultra-slender camera with contemporary metallic finish, it boasts an impressive 16.1-megapixel picture resolution along with a 5x optical zoom lens and the unique Smart Touch 3.0 with user interface icons to ensure highly intuitive operation to save your fingers the effort. And the fun doesn’t end there, with the innovative features packed within this camera:
- Live Panorama is a unique function that allows you to instantly preview the entire scene of each panoramic shot on the LCD display.
- Magic Frame feature includes 12 fun background templates, as well as the ability for users to customize their own.
- Picture-in-Picture function lets you insert one image with another for added fun and to exercise your creativity for one-of-a-kind results.
- Smart Filter lets you express your own creativity through a menu of 14 artistic effects, including Fish Eye, Zooming Shot, Water-paint and Oil-paint.
- Pose Guide function advises users how to best get into position with line drawings on the LCD screen, so you can capture the optimum image from any angle.

To create a new sensation of MultiView photography, Samsung has introduced international Thai star Nichkhun Horvejkul as the charismatic presenter of Samsung MultiView MV800. Representing modern, lively and smart young people, Nichkhun perfectly mirrors the lifestyle of the new generation who enjoys photography from every ambitious perspective. In addition, the Thai star whose strong fan base is found not only in Thailand, but across the world, will further enhance Thai consumers’ perception of Samsung as a leading global brand. With Nichkhun as the presenter, the company is set to release a new TV commercial titled “Inception” to tell the story of Nichkhun in pursuit of a woman, using Samsung MultiView MV800 as the tool that allows him to capture every angle of her with the unique Flip-out Display.
The launch of Samsung MultiView MV800 creatively turned its venue into a MultiView town to demonstrate how creative photo opportunities could be broadened with all the new angles possible. It gave attendees a presentation of the camera’s functionality along with a hands-on experience of the performance and features. A highlight presence of Nichkhun brought his fans a big surprise.
“With support of the launch campaign for Samsung MultiView MV800, we expect this new model to make 25-30% contribution to the total sales of Samsung cameras in the final quarter of this year. In addition, the new Samsung MultiView MV800 will drive for 23-25% growth in unit sales or 18-20% growth in sales value to our camera business, which will give us full leadership in this product segment by the end of this year,” Mr. Ratchata concluded.
