Siam Hotels & Resorts in conjunction with the Passion of Painting Group is hosting a charity art exhibition entitled “The Measure of Love” from October 19 to November 1, 2011 at the Siam City Hotel, Bangkok.
The exhibition will present 75 pieces of exquisite watercolour and acrylic painting of which all proceeds from sales will be donated to UNICEF and the Royal Thai Red Cross.
The “Passion of Painting” Group is led by Khunying Kwanta Devakula, Pol.Gen. Prakard Sataman, Khunying Pa-Opthip Sataman, Khun Anuthip Krairiksh and Khun Thipawan Tejchavichitre. The Group is an enthusiastic assortment of amateur artists with a passion and drive to create. They received their ‘big break’ two years ago when Associate Professor Vichoke Mookdamanee became their mentor. Their artistic spark thus ignited and guided, they set out to follow their heart’s desire and produce beautiful works of art to share with others and aid charity.
His Excellency Mr Anand Panyarachun, former Thai Prime Minister, will preside at the official opening of the exhibition on October 20, 2011 at 15:00.
Gallery hours are 10:00 to 20:00 daily and admission is free. The City Gallery located on the 2nd level of the Garden Pavilion at the Siam City Hotel.
