TrueMove has joined the flood relief efforts by helping its subscribers in flooded areas to be able to communicate in times of emergency and necessity with the following measures:
For prepaid subscribers:
Extended validity of up to 30 days (as of October 7, 2011) for subscribers in areas affected by flooding in 28 provinces which include Sukhothai, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singhaburi, Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Saraburi, Suphanburi, Nakhon Pathom, Pathumthani, Nonthaburi, Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chiang Mai, Yasothorn, Roi Et, Lampang, Loei and Nakhon Rathchasima.
Immediate top of Baht 20 per number (as of October 10, 2011) for subscribers whose call credit has been used up in the 10 provinces affected by severe flooding which are Sukhothai, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singhaburi, Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, and Lopburi. Moreover, subscribers in these provinces can call for an additional Baht 20 top up per week to be used for emergency calls when their calling credit has been used up. TrueMove will inform them of the number to call via SMS from October 17, 2011 onwards.
For postpaid subscribers:
? Service will not be suspended for postpaid customers who are unable to make payment for their monthly telephone bills up until October 31, 2011.

? Free SMS — subscribers can send an SMS asking for assistance to 4567892. TrueMove will then send the information to the National Flood Relief Center.
About 50 TrueMove cellular base stations have been affected by the flooding, equivalent to 0.5% of all base stations, affecting about 40,000 — 50,000 subscribers. Staff are now repairing the base stations to urgently restore communication services.
