Buddy Group, a fast growing company operating hotels, resorts and restaurants currently in Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Koh Samui, urgently launched new strategy to help flooded victims in Thailand. The latest strategy has launched for offering 3 accommodations of Buddy Group with the cheapest price ever.
The 3 hotels includes Buddy Boutique Inn (Khaosan Road), Hotel De’Moc (Prajatipatai Road), Buddy Lodge (Khaosan Road) is offering the price per room per night at 800 THB, 900 THB and 1,000 THB respectively. Every 50 THB for each room’s revenue will be split to “The Thai Red Cross Society” to donate to a fund for flooded victims.
Sorathep Rojpotchanaruch, Chief Operating Officer of Buddy Group, said “After the consequent floods which caused a massive devastation in Thailand, some of the properties of Buddy Group have been seriously affected by flooded unavoidably. For example, Buddy Oriental Riverside Pakkred, the new hotel just opened few months ago, has been affected by the flood as its location facing Chao Phraya River in Nonthaburi. Similarly, our 2 restaurants by Chao Phraya River including Song Fang Klong Restaurant and Khinlom Chom Sa-Phan Restaurant, have been flooded as well. So, the 3 properties as mentioned are temporary suspended services and operation until the normal situation will be back. That’s why we could tell that we have lost money more than 60 million Baht from this situation.”
“However, we still realize that we are able to help evacuees as we have other safe properties for temporary lodging. At the moment, we do understand how people feel, that’s why we have been doing some urgent campaigns for charity. The campaigns for charity include Micro Concert which its total revenues for flooded victims. We also put donation boxes in front of our hotels and restaurants around Khaosan area in order that people can drop money to be a fund. Furthermore, our team of Buddy Oriental Samui Beach Resort in Koh Samui heartily donated drinking water, conserve food, and other stuffs to Samui Association Rescue. All contributions as mentioned will be supported charity organizations to help flooded victims.” Sorathep added.
