Asiasoft ‘s overseas subsidiaries continued with substantial growth in Q3/54 resulting in strong 9 month performance.

Bangkok--16 Nov--asiasoft Asiasoft Plc. or AS still maintained its net profit growth of 17%, with total revenue of 401.74 million Baht in the 3rd quarter, or 11% increase from last year. The strong performance was mainly from improving in overseas operation from success of new and existing games, with the growth of 45% from last year. Mr. Pramoth Sudjitporn, CEO of Asiasoft Corporation Plc said that the group performance for Q3/2011, revenue was 401.74 million Baht, or 11% growth from the same period in previous year when the revenue was 363.49 million Baht. The gross profit margin was 45% of total revenue and the company generated net profit of 68.56 million Baht, or 17% increase from last year of 58.54 million Baht. Overseas revenue increased 45% from last year to 147.63 million Baht compared to 101.88 million Baht in previous year. The revenue growth was driven by the success of games for both new and existing online games. Two new games were launched in the 3rd quarter. Revenue from domestic operation was 254.11 million Baht, or 3% decreased from last year of 261.61 million Baht. Net profit was 42.24 million Baht or 24% decrease from 55.79 million Baht of previous year. The declining in domestic performance was mainly from the severe flooding which covered 26 critical provinces, where our Asiasoft internet caf?s were located. It impacted almost 30% of total internet caf?. In addition, the company postponed some of new games to 4th quarter or beginning of next year. For the 9 months period, the company generated revenue from both domestic and overseas markets in total of 1,219.92 million Baht, or 12% increase from last year of 1,088.57 million Baht. For domestic markets, the company generated 803.90 million baht or 66% of total revenue, whereas overseas revenue of 416.02 million Baht or 34% of total revenue. Key revenue drivers was from the aggressive strategy in launching of new games this year, resulted in net profit of 222.30 million Baht or 14% increase from last year of 195.25 million Baht. “We will continue to launch more games in the 4th quarter by launching 1 game, AVA in Singapore, and 3 games in Thailand which are Lost saga, S4Leage, and Pockie ninja. Moreover, we plans to expand our gamer base for casual game by using the same concept of FPS, under the regional platform which connects players in South East Asia region; starting with Band Master. Despite the delay in new game launch in November, our subsidiaries company in Indonesia will launch game by mid-December” said Mr. Pramoth
