Bangkok--24 Nov--Air France The Governing Board of Air France, which met on 16 November 2011, has approved the appointment of Alexandre de Juniac as Chairman and CEO of Air France. This appointment takes immediate effect. Jean-Cyril Spinetta, Chairman and CEO of the Air France-KLM Group, has resigned from his position as Chairman and CEO of Air France, which he held temporarily from 17 October 2011 and from his position on the board of directors of Air France. Born on 10 November 1962, Alexandre de Juniac is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique de Paris and the Ecole Nationale de l’Administration (1988, “Michel de Montaigne” class).
