Best Western International - The World’s Largest Hotel Chain? - and Golden Mountains Company today celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony of BEST WESTERN PREMIER Erbil and BEST WESTERN PREMIER Erbil Airport in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The two properties will operate under the luxury BEST WESTERN PREMIER tier in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan and Iraq’s fourth largest city. First to welcome guests in the first quarter of 2013 will be the 82-room BEST WESTERN PREMIER Erbil Airport near the recently opened Erbil International Airport and then, in 1st Quarter 2014, the 160-room BEST WESTERN PREMIER Erbil in the city itself.
Attending the official Ground Breaking Ceremony for the two hotels, held on-site at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Erbil, were top executives from Best Western International and Golden Mountains Company, the owner of the properties, along with invited VIP guests and members of Iraq’s tourism and hospitality sector.
