Photo Release: THAI Organizes Mobile Medical Unit to Assist Flood Victims, with the Help of Pilot Doctors and Flight Attendant Nurses

Bangkok--7 Dec--Thai Airways Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) organized a mobile medical unit under the project “Mobile Medical Unit to Assist Flood Victims, with the Help of Pilot Doctors and Flight Attendant Nurses.” THAI’s Mobile Medical Unit was formed in honor of His Majesty the King on the occasion of his 7th Cycle, 84th Birthday, on 5 December 2011. Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand (4th from right), THAI President, presided over the opening ceremony to formally launch the project and officiate over the mobile medical unit’s first departure. Sqn. Ldr. Asdavut Watanangura (4th from left), THAI Executive Vice President, Operations Department, also attended the opening of THAI’s Mobile Medical Unit. THAI’s Mobile Medical Unit, consisting of over 70 people, providing preliminary medical care to flood victims, through the temporary use of military vehicles during this period. The first areas that THAI’s Mobile Medical Unit visited were in the northern side of Don Mueang airport, assisting 250-300 people. Earlier this year in March, THAI’s Mobile Medical Unit provided medical care to students of the Thai Border Police School and the public at Thai Airways International Village at Tambol Sai Diao, Amphur Khlonghat, Srakaew province.
