On 16 — 18 December 2011 Central Festival Phuket held Phuket’s biggest jazz music event “Phuket International Jazz Festival 2011". The festival featured a number of international Jazz bands along with some famous Thai Jazz musicians including ETC Band, Brass Wave, Takeshi Band, Bangkok Connection, Pomelo Town, Tanit Sriklindee, Neung Jakkawal, Steve Cannon, Jacob Dinesen from Denmark and Tran Manh Tuan from Vietnam
The 3 day event covered three Jazz themes, Trendy Jazz, Classic Jazz and Pure Jazz, ensuring there was something for all lovers of Jazz music. The event was attended by a number of special guests and also visiting tourists.
