Samsung Shows Innovation Leading Performance,Exhibits Samsung’s Empire and Displays Cutting Edge Technologyfor the First Time in Thailand at BOI Fair 2011 with “Samsung TLCD”and “Samsung Nano Chip”
Samsung displayed a robust line up of more than a hundred products at BOI Fair 2011 under the “Samsung Join in Smarter Life” concept. Thai consumers will experience “Samsung TLCD” and “Samsung Nano Chip” — the genius innovations behind Samsung’s success - for the first time. The audiences also receive hands on experience with a smarter life with Samsung Smarter Home for an easier and more convenient life.
Mrs. Chandvipa Pipatanakul, Corporate Marketing Director of Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. revealed that “Samsung’s commitment to develop a more convenient life to consumers, including being an innovation leader in inventing products responding to every consumer’s lifestyles, inspires the “Samsung Join in Smarter Life” initiative. Samsung lines up more than hundreds products to be displayed at BOI Fair 2011. The products are displayed in 4 main zones — Innovation Zone, Design Zone, Convergence Zone and Greenovation Zone — in the 1,000 square metres of the Samsung Pavilion.”
Samsung Pavilion is considered to be the pavilion of display innovation which could be recognized from the exterior of the Pavilion. Placed in the front of the pavilion, the enormous LED panel “LED Flex Stripes”, contains a special LED innovation which flexibly adjusts itself to the structure. The 3D Visual Motion Effect also shows a spectacular animation every evening. The animation show presents the “Transformation” concept with CG Motion Graphic which stimulatingly and exquisitely reflects changes in technology and people’s life. Stepping into the pavilion, the cutting edge Augmented Reality by Samsung’s presenters will welcome the audiences to Samsung’s future world.
As for Innovation Zone, the audience will receive hands-on experience with the smart technology “Samsung TLCD” — a transparent LCD innovation — and “Samsung Nano Chip” — a genius chip from Samsung. To open more opportunities for Samsung’s designers, the smaller chip enables the designers to exceed the limits and design more attractive, smaller and thinner products while maintain their outstanding performance at the same time.
In Design Zone, the audiences will see highlighted Samsung products guaranteed by many world-class awards. Samsung displays products from various categories which are widely acknowledged in the design industry and products that received world-class design awards such as “Samsung Side by Side” - the refrigerator that perfectly integrate jewelry design with electronics -, the thin and light super world-class “Samsung Notebook Series 9” made with “Duralumin” — the material used in warplanes and space shuttles, “Samsung Galaxy S II” the Smartphone with high definition display, “Samsung Rose”— the masterpiece of upright design air-conditioner inspired by the beauty of roses in full bloom - and the 3D silver metallic Blu-ray player, at 0.99 inch at its thinnest.
In addition, Samsung also presents its wireless technology as a response to the new generation at Convergence Zone. The audience will experience “Samsung Smarter Home”, a simulation model of the near future home. All the electronics in the house are equipped with genius system enables them to communicate with each other by transferring data. The technology supports consumers’ lifestyle in the modern era. The wireless system connects and controls the devices perfectly at any places and anytime. The consumers will consequently have easier life, more freedom and more convenience which all lead them to perfectly smart lifestyle.
Besides Samsung’s innovation and interactive product presentation, Samsung expresses its care to environment through Greenovation Zone. The main building and walls are designed to be environmental friendly. The materials are biodegradable, well heat absorbed and noise proof. The ventilation system management also lowers the building temperature. As for the exterior of the house, trees and recycled decorations are used in order to be eco-friendly. The house is specially designed to emphasize Samsung’s vision and its standpoint to be a part of BOI Fair 2011 under the “Going Green for the Future” initiative.
Not only the spectacular of the robust lineup of Samsung products and animation performance outside the Samsung Pavilion, the opening of Samsung Pavilion is also filled with the smart atmosphere from Samsung’s hottest presenters Nadej Kugimiya and Ploy Cherman Boonyasak. Both presenters will reveal their smart lifestyles through Samsung Smarter Home. In addition, every weekend throughout the fair, audiences will meet and greet Samsung’s presenters who take turns visiting Samsung Pavilion with many fun activities to join. The audiences are entitled to receive the exclusive souvenir: Samsung reducing global warming cloth bag and a chance to get one Samsung Galaxy S Plus for free every day.
