Chakramon Phasukavanich, Chairman of the Board, and Subhak Siwaraksa President and Chief Executive Officer, CIMB Thai Bank, in collaboration with Pawinee Armarttasn, Director of Pathumwan District, and Songsak Boonrapongcharoen, President of Rotary Club of Bangkok Suwanabhum, hosted a mangrove forest planting project which will raise money to to buy around 5,000 plants such as Kong Kang, Samae Khao, Lamphun to plant a mangrove forest in a destroyed area to be back in a former or better condition to be habitat of young aquatic animals or those laying eggs and to make the ecological system well-balanced at Bang Pu, Samut Prakarn province. Planting various types of plants will create benefits in terms of economy and society as the project can promote tourism and help locals generate more income.
