Canon presents its best innovative and quality products that bring about happiness and joy to the Thai people, showcases its office of the future technology and its genius solutions featured in the spectacular show of a simulated world of Avatar, and provides for trial its world longest Super Telephoto lens in Canon Pavilion at BOI Fair 2011, IMPACT Lake Side, Muang Thong Thani, from January 5th — 20th, 2012.

Canon participates in BOI Fair 2011 under the “One for All Delight” theme to feature its state-of-the-art technology and quality products that fulfill customers’ needs throughout Thailand. It emphasizes on both offering premium service and giving back to the community. In an area of 1,000 square meters, visitors will be excited by our spectacular eight-zone exhibition in Canon Pavilion, namely:
King Bhumibhol Gallery — The royal pictures of His Majesty the King will be exhibited in this gallery. Some of the photos were taken during the King’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Celebration Ceremony on December 5th, 2011, in which Canon was the one and only granted a Royal permission to be in attendance. The zone also features exclusive pictures of His Majesty’s work on the Royal Project for which H.S.H. Prince Bhisatej Rajani, Director of the Royal Project Foundation, has specially given to Canon to be exhibited in the Fair.
Hi-tech Canon Zone — This zone highlights Canon’s principal factories in Thailand where Canon inkjet printers being manufactured here are marketed worldwide. One of the factories is newly opened in Navanakorn Industrial Estate in Nakorn Ratchasima Province.
Delight of Wonder Zone — Here, a dazzling world of Avatar is simulated for the zone’s visitors to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience of video-recording in a world of fantasy.
Delight of Leisure Zone — Entering Canon Imaging World in a leisurely atmosphere of outlets such as Mini-theatre, Wedding studio, and Printing shop, visitors will be delighted by Canon’s products and imaging solutions to printing photos of all sizes. With only one large format printer, customers can make a difference and can create a lot more business opportunities in just one print. Also with Print on Demand function, customers can make Photo Book, Diary, Postcard, Poster, Name Card, Invitation Card, Calendar, Brochure, Leaflet, Product Manual and even books.
Delight of Simplicity Zone — This zone is about the technology of the future, Canon’s solutions to document management. Cloud Connect, uniFlow and Therefore software in Canon’s multi-function photocopiers caters to all office functions and increases productivity of any company.
Delight of Living Zone — Here, visitors are shown the four modern day lifestyles where Canon’s various products fit right in and help fulfill all those lifestyles.
CSR Zone -- Canon’s CSR activities under the Clean Energy for Green World campaign are proudly presented here. Canon encourages the use of alternative energy particularly wind power, which is more sustainable and clean. With Canon’s support, electricity-generating wind turbines, which were developed by Thai engineers, have been installed in the rural-area schools throughout Thailand. As a result, the functioning of electricity-generating wind turbine will be demonstrated in this area.
Delight of Exposure Zone — Exclusively, a Watchtower installed with the world’s longest “Super Telephoto” lens is erected on the second floor of Canon Pavilion for our visitors to admire and take bird’s-eye-view photos of the Fair.
