UNIQLO is preparing for the opening of its 4th store at Megabangna shopping complex on May 5th, 2012. This latest store opening is in line with the company's ambitious expansion plan to open 100 stores in Thailand as part of UNIQLO's comprehensive strategy to become number 1 apparel retailer in the world by 2020.
Takahiro Nishimura, Chief Operating Officer of UNIQLO (Thailand) Co., Ltd., stated, “UNIQLO is delighted to announce the date of the grand opening of our 4th store in Thailand, which will be on Saturday the 5th of May at Megabangna. The upcoming UNIQLO store will occupy a retail space of 1,520 square meters, which located on Level 1 of Megabangna. The store will feature a design concept highlighted by “freshness” and “cleanness”, with wooden floors under subtle indirect lighting, which will enhance the warm and friendly atmosphere of the store. As an enhancement to the grid-like floor plan design, 4 multi-screen monitors at the main entrance will display unique UNIQLO advertising.
Megabangna is in a strategic location, situated in close proximity to Suvarnabhumi Airport, important business districts and university campuses, as well as populated residential areas, which will facilitate the flow of customers to the UNIQLO Bangna location. UNIQLO customers can conveniently access the latest store via the Udom Suk BTS station on the Sukhumvit line, and then take the comfortable shuttle bus to Megabangna.
