Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN) invests 120 million Baht to develop new parking system under the concept “Smile Parking” bringing “Intelligence Parking” the latest parking innovation, at its 7 shopping centers: CentralPlaza Pinklao, CentralPlaza Lardprao, CentralPlaza Chaengwattana, CentralPlaza Rama3, CentralPlaza Grand Rama 9, CentralPlaza Bangna and CentralWorld), which helps facilitate traffic congestion. The new parking system also include “Lady Parking”, “Senior Parking” and Carpool parking@CentralWorld. CPN is certain that “Smile Parking” will raise customer’s satisfaction and happiness when they come to CPN’s shopping centers.
CPN’s Senior Manager for Business Development Isareit Chirathivat said “according to the latest parking service survey, we found that shoppers were frustrated to find parking spaces because most of them spent more than 10-20 minutes after entering the gate until parking. Some customers drove up and down. However, after installing this innovative parking technology at CentralPlaza Pinklao, our pioneer branch for this system, customers show more satisfaction since the new system helps them spend only 5-10 minutes to find the parking.
When customers are entering the main gate of the parking towers, they will notice a digital board showing number of parking spaces available on each parking level. Therefore, they can head to the available parking spaces. The green light censor- wired on the ceiling of each parking lot will signify where customers can park. The light will be turn off after parking is completed.
Apart from customers’ satisfaction and compliments, for saving their parking time and fuel, Intelligence Parking helps reducing environment pollutions and traffic congestion.
