DHL, the world’s leading logistics company, has been conferred with a “Superbrands 2011" award by Superbrands International at a recently concluded “Superbrands Tribute” awards ceremony held in Bangkok. DHL Express Thailand is the only logistics company that has been bestowed the title of Superbrands Thailand for the third consecutive year.
A total of 1,350 local and international brands across 135 different categories were scored by the Brand Council based on a set of stringent criteria. The Brand Council comprises individuals who have shown exceptional aptitude in business and possess in-depth knowledge of the business culture in the country. The final score was tabulated with inputs surveyed from over 4,800 consumers spread across Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen and Hat Yai. Winners of the top awards not only showcased brand quality and affinity but also the brand’s unique personality.
Chananyarak Phetcharat, Managing Director, DHL Express Thailand and Indochina said, “This honor speaks so much of the tireless efforts of all our employees who have worked so hard to constantly leverage and grow our market leading position in Thailand. To be accorded the Superbrands award for the third consecutive year is a powerful endorsement of the DHL brand and is testament of the trust that our customers and the public have in us. As International Specialists, we continually strive to provide customized and innovative products and solutions. Enhancing customer loyalty and affinity is an ongoing mission for all at DHL. I am proud to be working alongside a team of dedicated colleagues who are not only customer centric but possess a “can-do” spirit that truly shines and differentiates us from the others.
“The DHL brand was a determining factor of the achievements that we see today and holds the key to ensuring the sustained success of the company. It is one of the key cornerstones that unite the business and the activities we engage in Thailand where we work and live. Winning this award demonstrates DHL’s strong marketing leadership position as well as our international capabilities and second-to-none service. We look forward to building on and further enriching our brand promise for all of customers in Thailand.” commented Yasmin Aladad Khan, Senior Vice President, DHL Express, South East Asia.
