Bangkok--14 May--Millennium Hilton Bangkok
Millennium Hilton Bangkok today announced a further collaboration in their successful partnership with Hitman Jazz: Jazz by the River, on May 25, 2012. This unforgettable evening will kick off at 6.00pm at the hotel’s luxurious riverside buffet venue, FLOW, featuring the sultry laid-back sounds of best-selling Jazz prodigy Simone Kopmajer.
Guests will be treated to a welcome drink on arrival as they enjoy the amber lights of a Bangkok sunset through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows that overlook the Chao Praya River. As they enjoy the finest international fare and sample delights from the city’s first ever dedicated cheese room, Simone Kopmajer’s laid-back acoustic Jazz sounds will while away the hours.
An international success story, Simone Kopmajer is an Austrian native who studied at the prestigious University for Arts and Music in Graz, before she was discovered by Todd Barkan, a leading luminary in the Jazz world and Artistic Director at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Simone’s most recent album, Nothing’s Gonna Change, is one of the bestselling Jazz albums in Thailand and she has developed a storing following across Asia by those with a passion for the genre.
“We’re delighted to give Jazz aficionados in Bangkok the chance to hear this marvelous talent,” said Thomas Hoeborn, General Manager of the Millennium Hilton Bangkok. “We are committed to bringing the best in international music to our clientele.”
